Downtown Girl!

I'm temporary working at a temp to hire job in a firm downtown Minneapolis. I never thought I would be down there. I got turned around down there after parking and I asked a Hindu Indian where my building was and he took the time to look it up on his smart phone and I found it. There is still some humanity in the world.  So far my boss is very nice and everyone else there I met were nice as well. Thank God I finally got something. Hopefully, I can be more even keel about things. Dealing with obsession even before this whole episode has never easy. Insomnia is a pain. I don't talk openly about my insomnia. I don't think most people even know about it. It's not severe as some can be, but it does affect me. Tonight I'm feeling a normal tired and hopefully can get back on the right track. It's going to be very helpful to be out in the real world dealing with work problems instead of being stuck not being able to do anything.

This morning on my way to work I got to listen to this song over and over by Chris Tomlin. I never thought someone would be able to rewrite Amazing Grace and be able to make it even better, but he could.

  1. Yay for a job! I know that it is probably a new world being in downtown Minneapolis, but that is so exciting, too! :) I'm sorry you are struggling with the insomnia... I keep hoping it will alleviate soon. I have noticed for me anyway- just a suggestion- that if I don't drink coffee or any soda for dinner, I sleep better. But you've probably tried that. Also, I have to force myself to be super active... even vaccuming my own house tires me out enough to overcome my mind wandering that keeps me awake. ;) again, I'm sure you have tried everything. I will keep praying it gets better!

I love love love Chris Tomlin- we are going in May! Praying that you fit super well in this job and it is permanent! Love ya
