I'm such a TV junkie. I've been getting caught up on all TV things with my spare time. My favorites are the paranormal, foodie, and dance shows. I can only handle reality paranormal. I have a hard time with stories that people tell because that really plays with ones mind! Every so often I think of having a night light in my room after one of those shows. The reality ones aren't bad because they debunk what things could be. My favorite paranormal shows are: Ghost Hunters, Fact or Faked, Dead Files, and Destination Truth.
I have a love/hate relationship with Destination Truth because they travel all over the world, but the people on that show are the over-the-top adventure type people and constantly yelling all the time and running after creatures that could do some serious harm to them. I do admire Josh Gates though because he is my age and can lead a team all over the world like that. Dead Files can be pretty scary for the faint hearted with some of the stuff the psychic sees. Don't watch it before you go to bed if you're not used to it!
Foodie shows are: Rachael Ray, Food Network Star, Iron Chef, and I just got into Chopped. I love competition like that, but the Chopped clock is fast and tough. Wow! That takes a lot of creativity.
I love So You Think You Can Dance. It's a pretty powerful show because it can make you laugh and cry in a period of the show because the choreography is done by some amazing dancers. One of the choreographers, Travis Wall, reminds me of Rich. Nigel Lythgoe, one of the judges, is saying that we are all born to dance, but it gets driven out of us. I need to start going to live contemporary dances because there are some impressive stories told through dance.
It feels so good to write. It's been a while. It might seem a little jumbled but hopefully it all makes sense.
