It's crunch time for resumes. I have till September 1st to get a job and a new apartment. Mom and I were watching Ellen when we were figuring out what to do with my situation and a tap dancer Josh Johnson was on the show. Ellen was asking him if there was a Plan B for his life and he said there is no Plan B, just Plan A. You have to go at it with your whole heart, mind, and soul. So that's what I'm doing. I finally got my references figured out. Aaron and Katri helped with my searches and wording. So I'm all good. I just have to believe and pray that it will all work out and I know it will with God's help.
I just can't get over how fast time has flown by this summer. I was happy to spend time with family at the lake. I wasn't sure if I was going to be able to, so I was able to spend some time not doing job searching. I'm happy I didn't have to drive in summer construction. They were doing quite a bit on 62. I'm so ready to do the commutes and listen to the radio!
I figured I don't want to be an assistant to people anymore because of attachment issues. I'm just glad my last boss was gay. It makes it so much easier. Or in a position with some power like an administrative assistant. I'm happy being in a front desk position.
I can't look for an apartment until I get a job and I hope to be in the southeast metro where I can be by family and have a short commute to the dance studio. I need to get back into dancing!!
So that's where I'm at with my job search.
