Shall We Dance?

One of the movies that got me inspired to really go out and dance is the Japenese version-Shall We Dance? I saw that years before the Richard Gere movie came out. I always wanted to be part of an experience where I become part of a group in dancing. My Latin class has a lot of regulars and we've gotten to know each other. There's Heidi and Rich, Bill, another Richard, and of course Anna. (I swear, I know too many Richards ever since the original Rich.)

One of the parts in the movie, is that the hero of the story always looked up in the window and saw the instructor. He eventually got brave and got into it. This past Saturday, the studio was having a dance, and an Asian guy was standing outside the window watching us all do salsa. Bill and I were dancing right there and it made me think of Shall We Dance. I'm proud that I actually am dancing and not just looking in the window.
